SSC Exam Pattern:

The  Exams by Staff Selection Commission  follow a standard format as follows:

Tier 1 - Computer based exam with multiple choice questions

  • Relaxation in Age according to government norms i.e,  5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC. 

  • Citizenship: A candidate must be

  •   a citizen of India 

  •  a descendant  of Nepal or a subject of Bhutan

  •  a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of settling permanently in India 

  • Will be subjected to a medical examination for final selection. 

  • No restrictions on number of attempts.
